I've spent my career inside large organizations at their moments of change — Fortune 150 enterprises, global medical device manufacturers, rapid-growth SaaS companies. I usually arrived when the map had run out: post-merger integrations, regulated product turnarounds, teams that had stopped trusting their processes.

Fifteen years of experience translating business challenges into technical requirements, and technical limitations into business expectations.

The technology was rarely the hard part. Clarity was.

Since 2023, I have been offering my services directly to business owners while occasionally being invited to join larger organizations who've run out of clarity in their processes, teams, and technologies. I started Seven Stone Pillars because I believe I do my best work when I'm connecting directly with decision-makers who are ready to take action.

I meet people where they are, in the thing they've built, and help them get to the next place they're trying to go. Not by telling them where to go, but by becoming a problem-solving partner who'll think alongside them until they can see the path forward for themselves.

I still take on delivery and transformation work with large organizations and growing software teams; that work keeps me sharp, and I'm grateful for it. When I get to choose, I have a soft spot for independent artists and nonprofits — people who've determined their work matters more than it pays. I build tools that help musicians run their own careers, and I help mission-driven organizations put real infrastructure under their purpose.

I earned BAs in English and Philosophy from Indiana University. My wife Christy and I have been married since 2007; we have five children and play music together as a family band. I'm a military veteran.
